Alright. I know there’s been quite a bit of anticipation for this post. On Sunday, I posted part one of this session, which was a more traditional post-wedding bridal session. Last night, I posted a Monday Musing with behind the scenes photos from the trash the dress portion of the session, and today you get the real deal. :)
I have wanted to do a legitimate trash the dress session for a long time, but understandably, it’s difficult finding brides willing to go for it. I certainly wasn’t going to trash the dress I had spent that much money on. But Ashley was more than willing to — she was ecstatic. She got lucky and found the perfect dress at a consignment shop that cost her next to nothing and fit her like a glove, making this activity totally guilt free.
It was freezing in this river, and I only had my feet in. Add the uncomfortable river rocks to it and it’s amazing that she was able to make herself look as comfortable as she did. Honestly, you’d think she always laid on cold, wet river rocks. No big thing. She was a real trooper.
And Randy helped photograph this segment too (which was how I got the behind the scenes photos), and took some nice shots. In fact, the first one on this sneak peek was his, edited by me. I think I might start dragging him along to more sessions just for more coverage (and cause I like having him around :D).
Anyway, I could talk for days about how excited this session has made me, but I have a sneaking suspicion you want to just see the images already, that is, if you have even managed to stick through reading this entire post!

These are so very beautiful! Love the colours; love the setting – that shot of her husband kissing her with the sun behind them is so very lovely.
Thank you so much, Hannah! :)
Ashley you are the most beautiful women ever!! I miss you!
