Alissa’s Sneak Peak | Seattle Portrait Photographer

I met Alissa in my Russian class last winter and we suffered together through the summer intensive. It was during that intensive that we scheduled this October shoot. And it was certainly a lot of fun! Alissa’s a ballet dancer, and dancing types are always fun to shoot because they seem to have a natural instinct for how to position their body that I, at least, totally lack when I find myself in front of a camera. But also, we got to shoot at a graffiti wall I’ve been eying lustfully for months, AND it was a sunrise shoot, which, while they are total pains in the butt to get up for, are nevertheless my favorite shoots. The light is absolutely perfect that early in the morning, and to top it all off, no one is ever in the streets!

These are just a few of my favorite shots from the session, though it was very difficult to choose! Thanks for being such a great model and good sport, Alissa! I hope you enjoy these and the rest of your images should be following soon!
