Well folks, this is it for 2010…can you believe it?! This year has been a sobering and exciting one for me and for my business. I started the year by joining a pro photographer’s forum and quickly realized quite a few things about what I want out of my photography business and exactly what kind of a photographer I want to be. In March, I officially dropped down to portfolio building while I figured out a pricing structure and business plan that worked for me. I launched the new website in September with all the information, and as of today, I am a legally registered Washington state business, ready to do things right and to do things well.
This year, I had the honor of photographing four beautiful expecting moms, six adorable newborns (including two sets of twins!), seven awesome families, six cute couples, two bad ass seniors, five adventurous individuals, and two absolutely wonderful weddings. I have seen my style grow and develop, my skills increase and I am so excited to watch the same happen this year. I hope to see many of you again in 2011, as well as meet new faces, too.
I have started placing orders for my studio samples, and they should start arriving any time now.
