My newborn sessions are typically among my longer ones. I will stay as long as I need to in order to achieve those dreamy, quiet, perfect newborn shots. I like to spend time focusing on just your new little one, and also some time with the rest of the family individually with your newborn, as well as together as a family. Newborn sessions can easily last up to three hours per shoot in order to get all those shots you’ll treasure most in. I allow for baby to eat, pee, fuss and all the rest — so no stress for mom and dad!

Newborn sessions are best before baby is 10 days old, this is when she or he will be most cooperative and we’re most likely to beat baby acne, as well! We all know that a baby’s arrival is unpredictable, so please book your newborn session as early as possible, and I will block off appropriate time around your due date to ensure a timely session.

Babies four months old and younger must be booked with either an Elegance or Extravagance session and I strongly recommend scheduling the session for your home where everyone is the most comfortable and relaxed.

Baby’s First Year

Understandably, many expecting parents are interested in capturing their child’s first year on film. The best way to achieve this is to capitalize on discounted Simplicity or subsequent Elegance sessions that you qualify for after booking an Elegance or Extravagance session. I recommend scheduling shoots for months 4, 6, 8 and 12 to be sure to remember the major milestones of your child’s first year. After baby’s first year, you will have the option of purchasing a custom album with your favorite images from throughout the year.
